Flatmates in New Zealand

Hey, I'm Ruben, 31, and work full-time as a firefighter. I'm easygoing, tidy and respectful. I enjoy workingout and spending time outdoors. I am a firefighter so I work shifts, my hours vary. I'm also a dad to a young daughter (just under 2 years old) who may visit occasionally. Looking for a relaxed, friendly place around the Hibiscus Coast with good people.

Hey! I'm Sanjay, a 24-year-old business student based in Auckland, and I'm looking for a short-term student flat in the CBD area for a four-week stay starting November 2026. I'm a pretty straightforward guy who values a clean, organised living space and gets along well with others — I'm respectful of shared spaces and my housemates' routines. I need a furnished room with reliable internet for my studies and work, and I'm happy with a shared bathroom setup; parking isn't a concern for me. I'm ideally looking for a household with one or two other flatmates max, where there's a friendly vibe and everyone's just going about their business without too much drama — honestly, I just need a comfortable base while I'm in the city.

Hi, I'm Cyriac, a 36-year-old guy looking for a shared room for a 12-week stint starting in late November 2026. I work full time and keep a pretty straightforward routine — I'm low-key, respectful of shared spaces, and generally easy to live with. I'm after a furnished room with reliable internet, which are my main must-haves, and I'm flexible on most other things like bathroom setup or number of flatmates (happy with up to four people in the place). If you've got a welcoming household vibe and don't mind having someone who's considerate and independent, I'd be a solid fit for your place.

Hi, I'm Mingze, a 21-year-old student currently based in Parnell looking for my next place. I'm a laid-back person who enjoys a balanced lifestyle—I'm pretty flexible with routines and aim to be a considerate housemate who respects shared spaces. I'm looking for a furnished room in a shared flat or house (or even a studio or granny flat) where I can settle in for around nine months starting March 2027, with a budget of $250 per week. The essentials for me are reliable internet and furnished accommodation, while I'm flexible about bathroom setups and don't need parking. I'm hoping to find a household with a maximum of three flatmates where there's a friendly, easygoing vibe—somewhere I can feel at home while being a good neighbour.

Hi, I'm Chesta, a 23-year-old woman working part-time in education. I'm looking for a room in a share flat in the Mount Wellington area and can move in from November 1st, ideally for around four weeks. I'm a considerate housemate who values a calm, respectful living environment—I keep common spaces tidy and am mindful of noise levels, especially during work hours. I'm looking for a fully furnished room with my own bathroom and reliable internet access, which I need for both work and staying connected. I'd prefer to share with just one other flatmate to keep things peaceful and manageable, and I'm happy to work within a $200-250per-week budget. If you think we could be a good fit, I'd love to hear from you!

I'm Sterling, an 18-year-old bloke working in the trades on working holidays and backpacking around. I'm pretty flexible and easygoing as a housemate — I keep things tidy and respect shared spaces, and I'm happy to muck in with household stuff. I'm looking for a room in a share flat or house in the Blenheim or Marlborough Region area for about 8 weeks from mid-February, ideally somewhere I can work and explore the region. I'm not fussed about furnishings, bathrooms, or internet, and I don't need parking, so I'm genuinely flexible on the setup — I just need a comfortable spot to crash and ideally a household with no more than four of us so there's a nice vibe. My budget is around $200 a week, and I'm keen to find a place where I can settle in, meet good people, and make the most of my time there.

I'm based around the Auckland area and I'm after a room in a share house or flat where I can balance my studies with a friendly household vibe. I'm pretty flexible when it comes to living arrangements—I'm open to shared rooms, granny flats, or student accommodation—as long as the space is furnished and has reliable internet for my coursework. I don't need parking or anything fancy with bathrooms, but I do need a comfortable setup where I can focus on my studies without breaking the bank at around $200 a week. I'm looking for a laid-back household where people are respectful of each other's space and schedules, and I'd love to find flatmates who are equally keen on creating a good living environment.

I'm planning to move in late March 2027 for about 24 weeks, and I'm happy to share a household with up to four flatmates as long as there's a relaxed, low-drama vibe where everyone respects each other's space and routines.
