Flatmates in Auckland

Hey! I'm Sanjay, a 24-year-old business student based in Auckland, and I'm looking for a short-term student flat in the CBD area for a four-week stay starting November 2026. I'm a pretty straightforward guy who values a clean, organised living space and gets along well with others — I'm respectful of shared spaces and my housemates' routines. I need a furnished room with reliable internet for my studies and work, and I'm happy with a shared bathroom setup; parking isn't a concern for me. I'm ideally looking for a household with one or two other flatmates max, where there's a friendly vibe and everyone's just going about their business without too much drama — honestly, I just need a comfortable base while I'm in the city.

Hi, I'm Cyriac, a 36-year-old guy looking for a shared room for a 12-week stint starting in late November 2026. I work full time and keep a pretty straightforward routine — I'm low-key, respectful of shared spaces, and generally easy to live with. I'm after a furnished room with reliable internet, which are my main must-haves, and I'm flexible on most other things like bathroom setup or number of flatmates (happy with up to four people in the place). If you've got a welcoming household vibe and don't mind having someone who's considerate and independent, I'd be a solid fit for your place.

Hi, I'm Niruta, a 24-year-old business student looking for a place to call home from November 2026 for about four months. I'm based around the Auckland area and I'm after a room in a share house or flat where I can balance my studies with a friendly household vibe. I'm pretty flexible when it comes to living arrangements—I'm open to shared rooms, granny flats, or student accommodation—as long as the space is furnished and has reliable internet for my coursework. I don't need parking or anything fancy with bathrooms, but I do need a comfortable setup where I can focus on my studies without breaking the bank at around $200 a week. I'm looking for a laid-back household where people are respectful of each other's space and schedules, and I'd love to find flatmates who are equally keen on creating a good living environment.

Hello, I'm William, 63, looking for a room till the end of the year, initially, near my work, which is mainly n the Remuera area. I'm very quiet and am looking for a very quiet situation.

I'm Fabiyi, a 43-year-old working in technology who's currently based in Tshwane Ward 58. I'm flexible with my work schedule through working holidays, which means I value a balanced lifestyle with time for both productivity and downtime. I'm a respectful and considerate housemate who appreciates a peaceful living environment and keeps to myself when needed. For my accommodation, I'm looking for a granny flat, home stay, or whole property with my own bathroom—privacy in that space is important to me. I'll need reliable internet for work and on-street parking for my vehicle. I'm planning to move in late March 2027 for about 24 weeks, and I'm happy to share a household with up to four flatmates as long as there's a relaxed, low-drama vibe where everyone respects each other's space and routines.

I'm felicity moving in with my partner , a 38-year-old tradesperson working full time, and I'm looking for a fresh start in Auckland CBD or the wider Auckland area from the end of October 2026. I'm a straightforward person who values a calm home environment—I keep to myself, respect shared spaces, and maintain a regular work schedule, so I'm an easy flatmate to live with. I'm after a studio or granny flat that's fully furnished with an ensuite bathroom, reliable internet, and off-street parking, ideally for a year-long tenancy. I'm looking for a quiet household with just one other flatmate at most, where we can coexist peacefully without drama—if you're after someone reliable and low-key, I reckon we'd get along great, and I'm happy to discuss my budget of $350 per week.

Hey, I'm PJ, a 26-year-old finance professional working full-time in Auckland. I'm looking for a room in a share house or flat where I can settle in for a solid year starting December 2026. I'm pretty flexible about furnishings and tend to keep to myself during work weeks, so I'm an easy-going housemate who respects shared spaces and quiet time. I'm after an ensuite bathroom, reliable internet, and off-street parking since I need my car for commuting, and my budget sits comfortably at $300 per week. I'd love to find a household with a maximum of three other flatmates—somewhere laid-back where everyone gets along but we're not constantly in each other's pockets.

Hi! I'm Mariam, a 22-year-old working my way through a hospitality career on working holidays, and I'm looking for a place to land from late November for about six months. I'm pretty social and adaptable as a housemate—my shifts vary depending on where I'm working, so I'm used to fitting around different routines and keeping communal spaces tidy. I'm after a furnished room in a share house or flat (or a studio if it works out), ideally with flexible bathroom and internet situations since I'm pretty low-maintenance on those fronts. I'd love to live with up to four people in a relaxed, welcoming household where everyone gets along—I'm keen to meet new people and soak up the local vibe while I'm here. My budget is $200 a week, and I don't need parking, so I'm flexible on location as long as it's easy to get around.

🚨 URGENT — LOOKING FOR A ROOM NEXT WEEK 🚨 Ciaoooo I'm Lorenzo, 25, originally from Italy, and I've just moved to NZ for work! ✈️ I'm looking for a room around Mt Wellington / Panmure. Nearby areas are fine too, as long as they're not too far since I only have a bike 🚲. Ideally, the room would be fully furnished and have a desk. 💰 Budget: up to $320/week, all bills included (less is always better 👀) 📅 Move-in: ASAP, ideally next week! My Airbnb is paid for until next week, so I'm hoping to find a place before then! I'm mainly looking for a flat with other young people who are keen to hang out, play board games, and have fun together! Since I've just arrived in NZ, it'd be awesome to find a flat that feels like home, not just a place to sleep. Bye! 🤙

Hey, I'm Chase, a 19-year-old guy currently based in Auckland and looking for a room in a share house or granny flat from late October 2026 for about six months. I'm on government assistance at the moment, so I'm keeping things flexible and laid-back — I'm a pretty easy-going flatmate who respects shared spaces and gets along well with others. I'm after a furnished room with reliable internet, which is pretty essential for me, and I'm flexible about bathroom setups, so that's not a big deal. I'd ideally like to be somewhere in the Auckland CBD, Botany Downs, or Pukekohe area, and I'm happy living with up to four other flatmates in a house where there's a good, chilled vibe. Parking isn't something I need, so that takes one thing off the list — I'm just after a solid, comfortable place where I can settle in for a bit.
