Michael

I'm Michael, a 44-year-old designer currently on government assistance, and I'm looking for a fresh start in the Wellington Region. I'm a pretty straightforward flatmate—I keep to myself mostly, respect shared spaces, and I'm reliable with my commitments. I'm after a whole property where I can settle in for a full year starting at the end of January 2027, and I need reliable internet for my work. A shared bathroom works perfectly fine for me, and I don't have a car, so parking isn't a concern—I'm happy to keep things simple with unfurnished accommodation and up to two other flatmates who are easygoing and respectful. If you're looking for someone steady and uncomplicated to share a home with, I reckon we'd get on well. I'm a non-smoker, pet friendly, not looking for a party house. My hobbies are tabletop role-playing games, PC gaming, retro gaming, Magic: the Gathering, painting minis and collecting comic books and graphic novels. I'm working on my startup early stages as a filmmaker, comic writer/penciller, game designer, author and digital artist. I'm actually not planning to move in until April 2027. I do like to read and have a small collection of books, but I'm also a massive movie geek and have a decent dvd collection.
