Flatmates in New Zealand

An incoming master's student at Victoria University of Wellington, I am a conservationist from the Philippines who enjoys exploring nature, discovering new places, learning about wildlife and biodiversity, and meeting people from different cultures. I am friendly, easygoing, and open-minded, and I would love to share Filipino culture while learning about my future flatmates' backgrounds and experiences. As a roommate, I value cleanliness, respect for personal space, and open communication. I understand the importance of being considerate and contributing to a comfortable, peaceful home. I am looking for accommodation in Kelburn with a budget of NZ$200-250 per week, ideally with friendly and respectful flatmates who want to create a welcoming living environment while pursuing our individual goals.

Hey!:) My name is Gina, I‘m 21 years old and I study to become a secondary school teacher with the subjects english and arts🎨📚 For my studies I need to complete a mandatory 3-month stay abroad and i chose New Zealand because the country amazes me and i always wanted to visit!🤩🌄 During the time abroad I plan on doing a 1-month internship at either a school or kindergarden, but besides that I mainly want to travel the country and get to know the culture and people☺️😊 I'm pretty adaptable as a housemate, I'm respectful of shared spaces and easy-going about routines. I'm looking for a furnished room in a shared house or flat, ideally from mid-April for around 12 weeks (or less if I want to travel)

Hi! I'm Macarena, a 36-year-old woman working in hospitality while studying part-time. I'm looking for a place to settle into from late October 2026 for a full year, and I'm hoping to find somewhere that feels like home. I'm pretty adaptable as a housemate—I'm used to working varied shifts, so I'm respectful of shared spaces and people's routines. I'm after furnished accommodation with reliable internet, off-street parking, and I'm flexible about bathroom arrangements. I'd love to share with up to three other people in a relaxed household where everyone gets along, whether that's a share house, flat, studio, or granny flat. My budget is $225 a week, and I'm genuinely excited to find the right fit!

Hi, I'm Archit, an 18-year-old student searching for a place near Massey University. I am interested in many sports & possibly a gym nearby. I am not a demanding tenant. I live minimally and want to be able to focus on my studies during my degree. I will possibly be moving to Auckland in mid-Feb if all with my university goes well.

Hey there my name is Theuns (or TJ), Im a 21yr old male from South Africa working full-time night shifts (out ~9:30pm, home ~7am). I’m quiet, clean, respectful, and always pay rent and bills on time. Great with pets and kids. Drive a lightly modified BMW (have slide-in exhaust silencers for cold starts) and looking for driveway parking to keep it safe. Happy to do any chores and volunteer for bin duty :)

Hey! I'm Ayush, a 23-year-old guy currently working in hospitality while studying. I'm looking to settle into the Auckland CBD area for around four months starting in late October, with a weekly budget of $250. I'm pretty laid-back and flexible with most things — furnishing, bathroom setup, and internet are all fine however they come — so I'm open to rooms in share houses or flats, student accommodation, studios, or even shared rooms, whatever works. I'm keen to find a place with no more than four flatmates where everyone's got a good vibe and we can get along well. Since I don't need parking, I'm adaptable on most fronts and just looking for a solid living situation where I can focus on my studies and work without any stress.

Hey! I'm Nghị, a 19-year-old student looking for a place in the Wellington Region for a 12-week stay starting February 2027. I'm pretty adaptable as a housemate—I keep to my own rhythm but I'm always up for a chat or grabbing food with flatmates when the vibe is right. I'm looking for furnished accommodation with reliable internet, which I'll need for my studies, and I'm flexible about bathroom setups depending on what works best for the household. I'm open to pretty much any living arrangement, whether that's a shared room, studio, granny flat, or share house, as long as it fits my $250/week budget and is somewhere accessible without needing parking. I'm hoping to find a laid-back household where people are friendly and respectful of each other's space—ideally somewhere I can settle in quickly and focus on my studies while being part of a good community.

Kia ora! My name is Corbyn, I'm a trans guy studying painting at AUT. I'm looking for something affordable around $220 a week in areas like Browns Bay, Torbay, or Rothesay Bay but open to anywhere in central-ish Auckland, abt 1 hr max public transport to uni. I'm a pretty relaxed and adaptable housemate—I keep to myself when I need to focus on my creative projects, but I'm always up for a chat or hanging out in shared spaces. I'm flexible about most living arrangements, whether that's a room in a share flat, a studio, or even a granny flat, and I'm not fussed about furnishing or parking. I'm going on exchange for semester 1 next year so I would like a place to keep staying at after that but only need until 5 Feb if you only have that available. My move out date is 24 October.

Hi, I'm AITO, a 28-year-old guy currently working on my working holiday adventure. I'm pretty laid-back and respectful as a flatmate—I'm mindful of shared spaces and keep things tidy without being fussy about it. I'm looking for a room in a share flat in Auckland for about 12 weeks starting late October, and I'd ideally like an ensuite and a place with reliable internet since I'm juggling work and keeping in touch with people back home. I'm happy with furnished or unfurnished, whatever works best, and I'm comfortable living with up to three other flatmates as long as there's a relaxed, friendly vibe in the house. If you've got a room available and think we'd be a good fit, I'd love to hear from you!

Hi! I'm Mamta, a 24-year-old woman working full-time, and I'm looking for a room in a share house or flat for about six months starting late October 2026. I'm a straightforward, easy-going housemate who respects shared spaces and keeps to myself when I'm home — I'm usually busy with work during the day, so I'm pretty quiet on weekdays. I'm looking for a furnished room with reliable internet (it's essential for me), and I'm flexible about bathroom arrangements, though I don't need parking. I'd ideally like to share with just one or two other flatmates in a relaxed household where everyone's respectful and independent — nothing too intense, just a comfortable living situation where we can get along without being in each other's pockets. If you think we'd be a good match, I'd love to hear from you!

I'm Charles, a 60-year-old healthcare professional currently based in Hillmorton and looking to stay in the local area—either in my current suburb, Canterbury, or nearby. I work full-time in healthcare with a fairly structured routine, so I'm a considerate housemate who respects quiet hours and shared spaces. I'm looking for a room in a share house or flat, or a studio if available, with reliable internet being essential for my work. My budget is $200 per week, and I'm hoping to find a stable arrangement starting November 2026 for a full year with no more than two other flatmates, ideally in a relaxed, respectful household where people get on well but also value their own space.
