My name is Bharath, and I am from India. My wife and I will be moving to Auckland at the end of August. I have been admitted to the PhD programme at the University of Auckland and have already received my New Zealand Student Visa. My wife has also been granted an Open Work Visa.My wife and I are a quiet, respectful, clean, and responsible couple from India. I will be commencing my PhD studies at the University of Auckland, and my wife holds an Open Work Visa. We have booked our flights with Singapore Airlines: - 27th August 2026: Hyderabad (HYD) → Singapore (SQ519) - 28 August 2026: Singapore → Auckland (SQ4281) - Arrival in Auckland: 10:15 PM on 28th August 2026 As I need to complete my enrolment at the University of Auckland on 1st September 2026, we are looking for temporary accommodation while we settle into Auckland, complete the university formalities, become familiar with the area, and decide on a suitable location for our longer-term accommodation. We are non-smokers, non-alcoholic, and value cleanliness, privacy, and consideration for others. We come from a Hindu family and follow a simple lifestyle. We mainly cook vegetarian food, eggs, and occasionally chicken, and we are happy to respect any household preferences or rules. We are friendly and easy-going, but also mindful of other people's space and routines. We keep shared areas tidy, pay rent on time, and believe in maintaining a peaceful and respectful living environment. As newcomers to New Zealand, we are looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to settle while we establish ourselves in Auckland and become part of the local community.
