Hello! I’m moving to NZ from america with my cutie patootie pooch who’s just a little guy (4-5kg) named Milou (he looks like an ewok <3). I know I’m “american” but I’m first and foremost Brazilian. I will be studying in Unitec and would prefer to live near there if possible. As of today, June 23, 2026, I am officially in New Zealand and am able to meet in person! I am pretty mellow and friendly with others, same thing for my little buddy. He’s a sweet little fellow who just wants to be friends with everyone. I enjoy company with people I live with as well being given the space to chill with my dog. Milou is well trained, and overall a pretty quiet boy who does well with everyone and other pets. We can both be a little shy in new situations, but we warm up quickly. I am not going to have a job when I arrive, but I intend to pick something up part time after I arrive. Currently, I'm working as a dog groomer (yes, I groom Milou) and I most likely will be looking at grooming salons. It's not make or break, but if you live near a grooming salon, please let me know! I’m a pretty creative person, I love drawing, watercolors, pastels and digital art. I have a degree in creative writing and am working on my own webnovel. I’m a musician as well, began learning since I was 4 and can play 3 different instruments. I’m a little bit of an animation and movie soundtrack buff as well because that’s where I wanted to be for the longest time. I LOVE animals, I’m going to be studying animal behavior and I want to work with birds. Quick note: I list rent as $240, but I'm willing to look at places as high as $310
