About the flatmates

Bills $35/w in addition to rent, which includes power, water, internet. Large room in very spacious house, room is aprrox 4 x 5m, usable floor space 4x4m, with built in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom. There are two living rooms and two decks, with the upstairs living room and deck being at tree canopy level getting all day sun, warm in winter. The downstairs living room is doesn’t get much sun and is a great place to cool off in a hot summer. Both living areas have heatpumps/ac, and the whole house is insulated and double glazed. The bedroom gets mostly afternoon sun. If you have guests visiting from out of town the second living room can double as a temporary guest room if your guests don’t mind sleeping on the couch – please just be considerate about letting the other flatmates know when you’re having guests stay. You’ll be sharing the living spaces with 2 working professionals in their 30s, one in insurance and the other a diving instructor. There is enough living space that if you want to have your own social gatherings without interference, that's easy enough to organise. There is also enough space to have larger shared gatherings. The house has unparalleled privacy, there are no visible neighbours from the house's living space as it is surrounded by native bush. Enjoy the bush smells and listen to the birds sing (although the double glazed windows also keep the noise out!) Strictly no smoking and no pets or other animals of any kind. Ideal flatmate is a working professional, but others will also be considered. Due to the occupancy limit we cannot have a couple, but if you have a partner they are welcome to come and stay a few nights a week. There are an additional two flatmates downstairs who have their own kitchen, dining, living, and laundry. You’ll see them from time to time but because they have their own space they don’t spend a lot of time upstairs. The 95B bus comes every 10 to 15 minutes on peak and every half hour off peak, and goes to Britomart. 8 minutes drive to Glenfield Mall, and 15 minutes drive to Wairau Pak’n’Save. 2 weeks rent to move in and the rent is paid weekly in advance on Friday. Excuse mess in pictures - this is a result of current flatmates moving out process having started - usually tidier.
